Moon photos taken with the 8” Newtonian which is part of the loaner program.  These photos were taken on Feb 15, 2008 from my former property just outside Elizabeth, CO at an elevation of 6500’. Some were taken at the prime focus (fl = 1588 mm) and some were taken utilizing a two power barlow (fl = 3176 mm). The air must have been extremely stable that day, because the jet stream normally comes across the state and creates lots of atmospheric turbulence.  The photos were taken as videos with an Image Source video camera.  The best 500 frames of each video were stacked and processed in Registax.
