For solar observation they claim that the finder scope should be removed or properly covered. This is not the case if you own a Herschel wedge. The pictures show my Meade LS8 SCT with a ED 60mm lens f/5.5 finder attached with the Herschel wedge. The Clave wedge has a 2x Barlow. The image color in both the main telescope and the finder are the same, white with no hue.
