H.A.S. members have been supporters of the CineSpace event in the past, setting up telescopes at Discovery Green. That’s on hold during Covid-19, but you can still support CineSpace by purchasing a ticket to their virtual event.
CineSpace 2020
CineSpace is a short film competition and collaboration between NASA and the Houston Cinema Arts Festival. This screening highlights narrative and documentary short films inspired by the NASA archives and created from NASA archival footage. Prizes are awarded by Houstonian filmmaker Richard Linklater and will be announced at the screening. Watch clips of the short films here.
