At the Montgomery A room, Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, the Woodlands, Texas

Complimentary parking is available at the Pavilion Parking Garage on Six Pines Drive; use the skywalk on the 4th floor to enter the conference venue.

Presenters

Hear about ongoing planetary research and missions from experts attending the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference. Topics include asteroids, astrobiology, icy moons, returning samples from the Moon, and robotic missions studying the solar system!

Activities

• Edible Rocks
  Analyze candy bars with the same terminology geologists use to study rocks from space.
• NASA Johnson Space Center Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science shares NASA assets including Astromaterials samples (i.e. Moon rocks, meteorites, etc.), Subject Matter Experts, and specialized labs through in-person and/or webinar events.
• Solar System Treks
  Online, browser-based portals that allow you to visualize, explore, and analyze the surfaces of other worlds using real data returned from a growing fleet of spacecraft.
• Girl Scouts Reach for the Sky
  Inspires and engages girls in NASA space sciences through STEM Girl Scout badges for all levels, through astronomy and space camp activities, and supports Girl Scout volunteers.
• OpenSpace
  Open source interactive data visualization software designed to visualize the entire known universe and portray our ongoing efforts to investigate the cosmos.
• NASA’s Science Mission Directorate
  Science Activation teams connect NASA science experts, real content, and experiences with community leaders to do science in ways that activate minds and promote understanding for learners of all ages.
